The Stories of the Upstate™ #210: (Dr. Martha Durham) "I was a cheerleader in high school and it’s sort of embarrassing now."

Dr. Martha Durham, psychologist with North Main Counseling and Wellness shares our 210th story.

"Why do people keep coming up to me and sharing their inner most problems" was a question Dr. Martha Durham asked herself frequently.  She found that she had a gift for connecting with people and found that empathy came naturally to her.  Her response to finding these qualities in herself was more schooling, a lot more schooling.  In all, 12 years of school have resulted in her becoming a psychologist and creating North Main Counseling and Wellness.
