                       Our 186th story comes from retired Greenville County Sheriff, Johnny Mack Brown

He's worked in the Probation and Parole office, served in the Solicitor's office, fought the drug war on a three man drug enforcement task force and been a U.S. Marshall, but Johnny Mack Brown will be forever known as the Sheriff of Greenville County.  He served the people of Greenville County successfully for 24 years making the Greenville County Sheriff's office, the elite law enforcement office in the state of South Carolina.
